In Colorado, 781 species of lichens in 198 genera have been reported. That means we have a LOT of work to do here! You can find a complete checklist with information about each species at the Colorado Lichen Flora Checklist, adapted from the Catalog of the Colorado Flora: A Biodiversity Baseline (Weber & Wittmann 1992) and updated online with new listings and nomenclature.
